About the event
Wouldn’t it be great if they could be themselves at school- no matter if they are learning virtually or in person?
You owe it to you and your student to learn about CONATION.
Nope- not a typo. It’s called conation and most people don’t know about it.
Conation is action derived from instinct; it’s the way a person is wired. It is purposeful action and talent- basically- what a student will or won’t naturally do. It is NOT personality based. Nor is it about IQ.
Most school curriculums are geared towards students who succeed in the traditional way, focused heavily on detail and structure. However, there is a large portion of students who learn and retain information best in ways that are not widely practiced.
When school is the most consuming part of the day, this feeling of invalidation and worthlessness can seep into every aspect of life.
As a Certified Kolbe Youth Advocate, I am passionate about helping kids learn and know their true talents in order to be an advocate for themselves in the classroom. And, let’s face it- NOW- this is MORE IMPORTANT than ever before… as virtual classroom learning brought to light- that kids all learn differently.
I am offering a workshop to help your kids learn about their natural talents.
